Sending lots of cold emails from your main domain can lead to problems like your domain getting blacklisted, which means your emails might not get delivered. This is where alternate domains and mailboxes come in handy.

How to Purchase DFY Domains & Mailboxes

Our Done For You (DFY) Domains & Mailboxes service makes it easy to set up alternate domains and email accounts.

Here’s how you can purchase them through our platform:

  1. Log in to Your B2B Rocket Account: Start by logging into your account.

  2. Go to the DFY Domains & Mailboxes Page: On the left side of the screen, click on "Email Accounts" in the main menu, then select "DFY Domains & Mailboxes."

  3. Start a New Order: Click the "Add New Order" button in the top right corner, then press the G-Suite button.

  4. Choose a Domain: Type in your preferred domain (do not add the .com, .org, .net endings). If your first choice isn't available, try adding prefix words like "get" or "try" before your domain name to find more options. Pick the domains you like.

  5. Set Up Forwarding Domains: Click "Next" and enter your forwarding domain (your main domain with "www." at the beginning).

  6. Assign Names to Mailboxes: Enter the first and last name of the person you want to assign to the mailboxes. Use real names, as prospects might look these people up online. If you need multiple mailboxes, just add more names and choose which domain goes with each name (dashed red box in the image). The mailboxes will be populated automatically.

    To change the names, you can click the pencil icon on the right side. It's important to note that when manually changing mailbox names, ensure that the name and email match. If you have John Smith as the name but the email as [email protected] you may face deliverability issues.

  7. Review and Place Your Order: Check everything over, and when you're ready, place your order.

Why not use my main domain for cold emailing?

Sending cold emails from your main domain can get it blacklisted, hurting your email deliverability. Alternate domains keep your main domain safe.

How many alternate domains do I need?

It depends on your campaign size. More domains can help spread out the emails and lower the risk of blacklisting.

How quickly can I start using my new domains and mailboxes?

After your complete your purchase, it will take 24-48 hours to get them setup, then an additional 2 weeks for warming up your inboxes. After this is complete you'll be ready to use the mailboxes to send cold emails.
