Knowledge Center Setup

The Knowledge Center is a centralized space where you can organize, upload, and import resources. It enables agents and team members to easily access training materials, reference documents, and other key resources in one place. This ensures that your knowledge assets remain structured, searchable, and readily available for use.

Navigation

Step 1: Log in to your account and click on the Knowledge Center icon from the left-side navigation menu.

You will be navigated to the Knowledge Center dashboard, where you can see all your folders, documents, and import options.

Create a New Folder

Folders help you organize resources and keep related materials together.

Step 1: Click on the New Folder option.

Step 2: Enter the folder name and click on the Create button to save it.

Your folder will now appear under All Files on the left panel.

Create a Blank Document

Use this option to quickly create a simple text-based document directly within the Knowledge Center.

Step 1: Click on the Blank Document option.

Step 2: Enter the text in the editor provided and click on the Save button to proceed.

The document will be saved inside the selected folder (or under All Files).

Upload Documents

You can upload supported files such as PDFs, DOCX, Markdown files, or code files.

Step 1: Click on the Upload Documents option.

Step 2: Select the document(s) from your system.

Step 3: Click on the Upload button to proceed.

The uploaded files will be visible under All Files or inside the folder you selected.

Upload Folders

Use this option to upload entire folders while preserving their structure.

Step 1: Click on the Upload Folders option.

Step 2: Select the folder from your system.

Step 3: Click on the Upload button to proceed.

The folder and its contents will appear inside the Knowledge Center with the same structure.

Import a Website

Use this option to continuously scrape and import content from a specific website into your Knowledge Center.

Step 1: Click on the Import a Website option.

Step 2: Enter the website URL you want to import.

Field Name

Description

Starting URL

Enter the website URL from which the content will be imported (e.g., https://example.com).

Crawl Mode

Choose how the system should crawl the site: - Domain: Crawls the entire domain, including subdomains like docs.example.com or help.example.com.

Max Pages to Import

Set the maximum number of pages to import from the site (e.g., 250).

Save & Begin Import

Click this button to save your settings and start importing content.

Imported Pages

Displays the list of web pages that have been successfully imported.

Status Indicator

Shows whether the website has been imported yet (e.g., “Not yet imported”).

Step 3: Click on the Save & Begin Import button, and the system will fetch and sync content from the provided site.

The URL will be imported successfully.
