Mastering the Copywriter AI Agent

Updated over a week ago

1. What the Copywriter Agent Does

The Copywriter Agent is your AI-powered content creator inside B2B Rocket.
It writes sales emails, subject lines, LinkedIn messages, and other outreach copy using:

  • Knowledge from your Knowledge Center

  • Your instructions

  • Any prompt you give it during use

Primary Goal:
Help you quickly create consistent, on-brand, and high-performing sales copy without starting from scratch.

2. Where the Copywriter Agent Fits in Your Workflow

The Copywriter Agent works in campaign sequences:

  • Inside a campaign step (email, LinkedIn message, etc.)

  • When you use the AI assistant button to generate content

  • Paired with the Strategist Agent to build and write full outreach sequences

3. Setting Up Your Copywriter Agent

Step 1 – Create a Team First

The Copywriter Agent belongs to a Team.

Teams determine which Knowledge Center folders the agent can access.

Example:

  • Leads Cloud Team → assigned Company Knowledge, Sales Training, and Leads Cloud product folder.

Step 2 – Start the Agent Creation

When you create an agent inside your team and choose Copywriter, you’ll see two options:

  1. Answer Setup Questions (Recommended)

  2. *Skip and go straight to manual setup

Step 3 – (Optional) Answer Setup Questions

These questions help the AI better understand your brand and audience.
Examples:

  • What tone/language resonates with your target audience?

  • What challenges do your prospects face?

  • What benefits set you apart from competitors?

  • What results do customers hope to achieve?

Pro Tip:

Even short answers improve output quality.

Step 4 – Name Your Agent

  • You can name it after a product (Leads Cloud Copywriter)

  • Or give it a human name (Julie) for internal clarity

  • Choose something you’ll easily recognize in dropdown menus

Step 5 – Define the Role

Example:

You are a copywriting agent for B2B Rocket. Your goal is to write short, engaging sales emails to promote the Leads Cloud product to SaaS founders.

Step 6 – Add Specific Instructions

This is where you shape its writing style.

Examples:

  • Write casually and be direct

  • Use contractions

  • Avoid pricing mentions

  • Limit to 3–5 sentences per email

  • Highlight value before features

4. Advanced Configuration
