Any Email Provider

Updated over a week ago

Connecting with Any Email Provider allows you to use your preferred email service, whether Yahoo, Zoho Mail, or a custom domain, by configuring IMAP and SMTP settings. This allows you to manage outreach without being restricted to specific platforms, enabling smooth integration with existing mailboxes while preserving deliverability and control.

This documentation will walk you through the steps to add an Email Provider.

Let’s get started 🚀

Navigation

Step 1: Log in to your account and click the Accounts icon from the left-hand sidebar.

Step 2: By default, you will be navigated to the Email Accounts tab. Here, you can view all connected email accounts.

Step 3: Click on the Add New button located at the top right corner to connect with any Email Provider.

A modal window titled "Connect Your Account" will appear, where you can select Any Email Provider.

Create a New Email Account

Enter basic details to register a new email account for outbound communication.

Step 1: Enter your name in the First Name and Last Name fields.

Step 2: Enter the email address in the Email field.

Step 3: Click on the Next button to fill in the remaining fields.

Upon clicking on the next button, your username will be filled automatically in the Username field.

IMAP Connection

Securely link your mailbox using IMAP to enable email sending and receiving.

Note: IMAP is always enabled by default for personal Gmail accounts as of 2025. You no longer need to manually enable IMAP in Gmail settings.

Step 1: Go to your Google Account’s Security settings. Select App passwords and generate an app password for your email client.

Step 2: Copy the password and enter it in the Password field.

Note: If using SMTP, go to Emails > SMTP Overrides, and ensure the Email and Username match your Google App’s email. Use the generated App Password.

IMAP Configuration

Manually input server settings to establish a reliable connection with your email provider.

Step 1: Enter the host ID in the IMAP Host field.

Step 2: Enter the port number in the IMAP Port field.

Note: IMAP typically uses 993 (SSL Encryption), SMTP uses 465 (SSL) & 587 (TLS).

Step 3: Click on the Next button to proceed.

Your connection with any email provider will be completed successfully.
